Role Purpose

The Tamil Nadu Apex Skill Development Centre for Automotive (TNASDCA) is seeking an experienced leader to drive strategic growth and strengthen automotive skill development across Tamil Nadu. Lead the change. Strengthen the automotive skills ecosystem. Shape Tamil Nadu’s future workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive strategic growth and strengthen automotive skill development across Tamil Nadu.
- Provide executive leadership and strategic management for TNASDCA operations, training initiatives, and corporate governance.
- Build and expand industry partnerships with automotive OEMs, auto-component manufacturers, and institutions.
- Oversee sound financial management, budget allocation, and institutional governance.
- Spearhead advanced programs in emerging automotive technologies, including EVs and Industry 4.0.
- Foster strong collaboration with State & Central Government bodies, NSDC, and ASDC.
Qualification & Experience
- 15+ years of relevant industry experience preferred.
- Degree in Engineering, Technology, Business Administration or a related field.
- Proven executive leadership and strategic management experience.
- Expertise in automotive, auto components, manufacturing or vocational skilling.
- Strong knowledge of financial management, corporate governance and industry partnerships.
- Understanding of emerging automotive technologies, including EVs and Industry 4.0.
- Fluency in English and Tamil is essential.
